PALM JUMEIRAH

The archipelago of artificial islands initiated in 2001 and envisaged as an exclusive residential development, has evolved into Dubai’s prominent resort area. Clusters of luxury hotels, extensive shopping and entertainment venues, the beach club restaurants and an infinite variety of water sport opportunities are generating travel needs well beyond initial expectations.
Access from the mainland is through the base of the Palm, along a central transport corridor comprising a high capacity spine road and the Palm Monorail which connects to the Dubai Metro.
Our brief for traffic management consultancy services, undertaken for NAKHEEL,  was to identify critical issues relating to the present mobility situation and to suggest remedial measures for the immediate future, without investment in new infrastructure. 
Our proposals included a new strategy relating to the management and articulation of nearly 10.000 spaces available for visitor parking in several distinct areas, all of them with a direct connection to the monorail.
A further improvement related to offering effective protection to residential neighborhoods with respect to the heavy traffic and environmental issues arising along the Spine transport corridor. 

INTU - COSTA DEL SOL

JAHAN MALL          

Location: Mashaad - Iran

Urban Mixed Use Shopping and Leisure Development of 330.000 m² plot.  
750.000 m² built areas including 420.000 m² for shopping mall, hotel and residences.
Basement parking for 9.000 cars

Projection of generated traffic intensities; specification of design standards for the new internal roadway infrastructures; road improvements on main approach routes.
